Blue Ridge Parkway - Virginia
Humpback Rocks, VA
Visitors will find an information center to answer questions about the parkway. There are three trails, including the Appalachian Trail, that offer spectacular views of the Rockfish and Shenandoah Valleys. Visitors can also hike through an outdoor museum that is reminiscent of an 1890s' mountain farm. During the summer months, costumed interpreters demonstrate southern Appalachian mountain life at the turn of the century. The site also includes several historical outbuildings.
