The town of Lookout is home to "Spy Rock", a Civil War historical site. Located nearby is Babcock State Park and the Glade Creek Grist Mill. Next to Babcock State Park is Camp Washington Carver, home of the Doo-Woop and Appalachian String Band Music Festival, and outdoor summer concerts.
