R.D. Bailey Lake WMA, WV

The R.D. Bailey Lake is an ideal vacation spot for anyone who loves to hunt, trap, or fish. The large expanses of forest surrounding the lake allow for excellent hunting opportunities for squirrel, ruffed grouse, turkey, raccoon, and black bear. Archery hunting for deer is also allowed. For those who enjoy trapping, the area offers opportunities for fox, bobcat, skunk, opossum, mink and muskrat. The 630-acre lake provides excellent warmwater fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass, sunfish, hybrid striped bass, crappie, catfish, carp, walleye and tiger muskie.
