Hico, WV

Located at the at the intersection with the Coal Heritage Trail, Hico is set in the heart of whitewater rafting country. The world's longest single span steel arch bridge crossing the New River is located 7 miles south of the city on Route 19. North on Route 19 is Summersville Lake and the historic Civil War battlefield at Carnifex Ferry State Park.
