Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway
Cheyenne Crossing, SD

This historic site, previously named Spearfish Canyon Crossing, was a resting point on the turn-of-the-century Deadwood/Cheyenne stagecoach route. The last stagecoach rolled through Cheyenne Crossing in January of 1891. The area is dominated by the confluence of three canyons.
