Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge, NE

The Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge contains 45,000 acres of natural prairie and a number of small lakes that comprise the nesting and migratory bird refuge. Waterfowl and shorebirds use the refuge for nesting and feeding, and the refuge may be used for waterfowl production. There are variety of different species of wildlife at the refuge, such as raccoon, pronghorn, mule and whitetail deer, and a variety of birds such as waterfowl, shorebirds, and songbirds.
