Veterans Evergreen Memorial Drive
Visitor Services
There is a gas station, convenience store, restaurant, gift shop and motel at the byway's junction with I-35 (the southern end of the byway.) The rest of the byway is basically undeveloped. Some of the small towns it passes have limited services. Jay Cooke State Park (at the northern end of the byway) is a well-developed and pleasant park, with picnic areas, restroom facilities and parking. Located near the north end of the byway, the large city of Duluth includes all services.

Special Considerations
Watch out for vehicles parked by the sides of the road, especially in autumn when hunters and outdoor enthusiasts leave trucks, trailers and other vehicles there while they pursue their activities.
