Driving the Byway

The byway generally consists AK-3 from south of Denali National Park and Preserve up to Fairbanks, Alaska.

• Specifically, begin your drive on the byway at the Chulitna River Bridge just south of Denali State Park.
• Continue north on AK-3 through Denali National Park.
• The byway ends in Fairbanks at the junction of AK-3 and AK-2 (Steese Highway.)
