Laurel Highlands Scenic Byway
Visitor Services

Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau, which is designated as the official tourism promotion agency for the region comprised of Fayette, Somerset, and Westmoreland Counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania, operates and administrative and information services office on the second floor of the Town Hall located "on the Diamond" in Historic Ligonier. Extensive brochures, maps and guides are available. The office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, closed holidays.

The Bureau also operates a visitor information center at Ohiopyle State Park in the historic train station. Located on Route 381, on the Laurel Highlands Scenic Byway, the center is staffed daily from May through October, from 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and is stocked with brochures, maps and guides.

Special Considerations

To tour Fallingwater, advance reservations are required. Reservations are also required for whitewater rafting. During the busy season in the fall, dinner reservations are suggested.
