Getting to the Byway

From Wilmington:

• Take U.S. 74/76 west.
• Turn left onto N.C. 133.

Driving the Byway

• Traveling N.C. 133, cross Allen Creek.
• After crossing the creek, take S.R 1529 (Plantation Road)
• Continue on S.R. 1529 until you pass Orton Plantation and Orton Pond.
• Turn left onto S.R. 1533 (Tryton Palace Road)
• Travel S.R. 1533 until you reach Brunswick Town State Historic Site where the byway ends.
