Special Considerations
This drive offers the best of southern history and architecture. Because of the nature of wetland and swamp area along the byway, visitors are advised to have insect repellent on hand.
Restrictions
Recreational vehicles and large vehicles may have difficulty driving this byway.
RVs are not permitted on the cable ferry and will need to travel a different route.
