Swanquarter National Wildlife Refuge, NC
Established on June 23, 1932, the Swanquarter National Wildlife Refuge is made up of saltmarsh islands and forested wetland interspersed with potholes, creeks, and drains. Popular recreational activities include fishing, hunting, photography and wildlife observation.
