Post Rock Scenic Byway
Wilson Lake Dam, KS

In the sixties, the Army Corps of Engineers oversaw the construction of the earthen Wilson Dam and the resulting Wilson Reservoir. The Corps of Engineers continues to manage the watershed, and has an office located on the south side of the dam. The byway travels right across the dam. A turnoff on the dam leads to a scenic overlook with a picnic area.
