Wilson Midland Hotel & Restaurant, KS
The Wilson Midland Hotel was built in 1899 and was considered a state-of-the-art building and the finest hotel between Kansas City and Denver till 1988. By 2003 the hotel was renovated to a masterpiece of cultural and historic luxury with all the modern amenities of a modern hotel. It was renamed the Midland Railroad Hotel in 2010. The hotel has memorabilia from the movie "Paper Moon", filmed at the hotel in the 1970s, hanging along the wall above the staircase. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
