The 64-mile Seminoe-Alcova Back Country Byway lies in South Central Wyoming. As you drive along it, you'll pass antelope-grazed prairie, stark desert, and you'll climb over the rugged Seminoe Mountains. You'll encounter additional attractions along the way including the Alcova Reservior, popular for fishing and boating; Pathfinder Reservior, a favorite of windsurfers; Fremont Canyon, known for fishing and rock climbing; Seminoe Reservior; the Seminoe and Pedro Mountains;and Seminoe State Park. Although the road is in a remote area, the amazing landscape transformations are worth your back-country journey.
