Seminoe to Alcova Scenic Backway
Seminoe State Park, WY
Mountains to the north and rolling hills and sand dunes to the south describe Seminoe State Park, located near Rawlins. Just 34 miles north of Sinclair on County Road 351, Seminoe boasts good fishing for trout and walleye while boaters enjoy the largest reservoir in the state park system. Wyoming's "Miracle Mile" is located 12 miles north of the park along the North Platte River. Wildlife enthusiasts get a chance to see bighorn sheep along with deer, antelope and the endearing prairie dog in this area.
