Gunflint Trail Scenic Byway
Trail's End Campground - End of the Gunflint Trail, MN
The Gunflint Trail ends at Gull Lake. Trail’s End Campground offers remote sites on Seagull River and Gull Lake. Gull Lake, Seagull Lake, and Saganaga Lake Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness entry points may be accessed at the two landings here. Walk the river trail and view the waterfall and rapids. Look for the Bald Eagle nest in the middle of the campground, on a tall white pine. Osprey and Turkey Vulture are often seen here, as well as many duck species. The forest is summer home to many neo-tropical warblers.
