Gunflint Trail Scenic Byway
Bicycle/Pedestrian Facilities

The Gunflint Trail (Cook County Road 12) is a paved, two-lane road, accommodating two-wheel-drive passenger vehicles.

Pedestrian travel is accommodated along the newest re-surfaced section of the Gunflint Trail, along Poplar Lake. Additional pedestrian and bicycle travel may be accommodated as the roadway is re-surfaced and as funding permits.
