Numerous campgrounds (Hot Springs and Pine Flats are just two) are located along the route. Several of these have natural hot springs located within or near the area for visitors to enjoy. Boise National Forest is host to most of these campgrounds, and several trails are available for hiking and biking.

Crouch and Garden Valley have RV parks.
