Strait of Juan de Fuca Highway - SR 112
Sail and Seal Rocks (Sea Stacks), WA

As part of a boulder field stretching half of a mile to the west, two huge rocks called the Sail and Seal Rocks stand out from among the crowd. Not only do they provide a picturesque view from the roadway, but the area surrounding this designated viewpoint supports a variety of wildlife. The bay is partially protected with clear water. Chances of seeing Gray Whales are particularly good as it is a popular feeding area. The bay is shallow at first, then gently slopes out to the rocks, providing an optimal area for viewing water wildlife.
