The Wilderness Information Center is a wonderful place to learn more about the wilderness visitors will soon be exploring. While here, listen to some wilderness education such as "Leave No Trace," "Food Storage," and "Safety." Get trip planning assistance for backcountry trips as well as wilderness camping permits and advance reservations. Bear canisters are also available for loan to keep food safe. The center also has a small museum and giftshop for travelers' enjoyment.
