Unpack your lunch at one of the shady picnic spots along the wooded shoreline. These restful areas come equipped with tables, stoves, toilet facilities and water. Four shelters are available, including one that has electricity. Two of the larger picnic areas have playground equipment.

Restrictions

Check with the superintendent's office for fishing regulations. When boating, outboard motors are limited to 10 horsepower, and Illinois boating regulations must be observed.
