This quiet community is a nice place to stay while traveling the Lincoln Highway. You may choose to explore the Hillendale Bed & Breakfast or camp at the Morrison Rockwood State Park.

After you cross the Mississippi and enter Morrison, be sure to keep a look out for the Lincoln Highway Garage. A large mural on the front of the building incorporates reality and fiction so well you will have a hard time deciding what is the building and what is the mural. The painting features a common scene from the highway's early history.
