Observe the railroad at the Railroad Park southwest of the downtown area, or stop at the old Standard Oil Filling Station that has been restored as a visitor center. Rochelle is a Lincoln Highway town with its own unique themes.

West of Rochelle on IL 38 you can see the a portion of the original road turning south on South Center Road to cross the Kute River. The bridge no longer exists and the road has been closed
