B&O Roundhouse & Station Complex, WV

The B&O railroad went through Martinsburg in 1842. During the Civil War, control of the rails was a strategic issue, and much of the roundhouse was destroyed by Stonewall Jackson and his troops but was rebuilt in 1866.
