Comerica Park opened in April 2000 and is the new home of the Detroit Tigers. Tiger sculptured heads are located around the outside of the park. It holds 40,000 people and features six statues of famous local baseball players and also has decade displays around the concourse. It also has the largest scoreboard in baseball. Other features are a tiger themed carousel, a Ferris wheel, a water feature in center field, indoor/outdoor restaurants, and concession stands.
