Rapid Motor Vehicle was one of the few companies initiating truck production in Pontiac. General Motors purchased Rapid Motor Vehicle in 1909 and merged it with another company to start the GMC truck line. The three-story Rapid Motor Vehicle Company building features cathedral-styled arched two-story windows offering evidence of a more prestigious time.
