Special Considerations

There is foot traffic access to Acadia National Park Carriage Road network around Long Pond.

If you take a ferry to whale or puffin watch, make sure to wear rubber-soled shoes, sunscreen, gloves, polarized sunglasses, and warm clothing. Bring binoculars and fast (200 or better) film.
