Public phones can be found at the following locations: Acadia National Park Carriage Roads Visitor Center, Hull's Cove, Mount Desert Narrows and Thompson Island, Thunder Hole Ranger Station, and Bar Harbor. Northeast Harbor, just a few miles off of the byway, also has phones available.
