Restrictions
US 41 is extremely well maintained. Even during the heaviest snowfalls, the road is seldom closed for more than a few hours.
However, Brockway Mountain Drive, a spur of the Copper Country Trail, is not plowed during the winter months. This 9.5-mile drive is accessible by cross-country skis or snowmobile during this time.
