Western Mining and Railroad Museum, UT

Helper Western Mining and Railroad Museum is located in the Helper National Historic District. The museum contains memories of the past from coal mining and the old rail road. This museum features a simulated 1900 coal mine, as well as many artifacts and displays about mining and railroad history in the area. Its exhibits of mining and railroading history are outstanding and tell the story of the region, including many towns along The Energy Loop: Huntington/Eccles Canyons Scenic Byway.
