The Energy Loop: Huntington/Eccles Canyons Scenic Byway
Scofield Reservoir and State Park, UT

Entering from the north canyon, drivers will catch a glimpse of the blue waters of the Scofield Reservoir surrounded by green hills. The Scofield Reservoir is lined with little summer homes and cabins of people who have already discovered the area as a gem. Trees edge their way towards the banks of the reservoir and meadows and marshlands can be found at the south end. Little inlets provide a place for skipping rocks and watching the water lap at the rocky shore. Near the center of the reservoir sits a lone rocky island, perhaps waiting to be explored.

Stop at this state park for boating, swimming and fishing. The reservoir has some of the best fishing in the state and is a popular destination for anglers.
