The Energy Loop: Huntington/Eccles Canyons Scenic Byway
Tie Fork Canyon, UT
Near Huntington, visitors will find themselves at the bottom of Tie Fork Canyon, named for the railroad ties that were made from the trees in the canyon during the early 1900s. Although some of the canyon is still recovering from timber use, Tie Fork Canyon represents a natural community on its way to becoming stable. It holds multiple tree and plant species for visitors to spot and enjoy.
