Historic National Road - Ohio
National Road/Zane Grey Museum, OH
The National Road/Zane Grey Museum exposes visitors to three distinct aspects of the region's history. It contains a collection of memorabilia related to the life and writing career of local author Zane Grey, as well as a collection of vehicles and dioramas that tell the story of the National Road. A collection of mile markers from the National Road can be found around the grounds of the museum.
The third exhibit in the museum is a sampling of the area's renowned pottery, more particularly, art pottery produced from around the turn of the twentieth century through mid-century by famous artists like Roseville, Hull, Shawnee, Weller, and McCoy.
