Pine Ridge National Recreation Area, NE

The Pine Ridge National Recreation Area encompasses 6,600 acres. This natural area is a primitive/semi-primitive area. The Pine Ridge Trail goes through part of this area. This recreation area is part of the Nebraska National Forest, Pine Ridge District. This unique forest was hand planted and now boasts a community of plants and animals that will delight visitors to the area. Camping and trails are available in both the forest and the recreation area.
