Special Considerations

The roads are dirt, and not maintained the entire way. 4WD and high clearance necessary for all vehicles.

Bring a detailed topographical map, as there are few signs once you hit the backcountry, and there are a surprising number of roads to choose from. It's not likely there will be many people out there to ask directions from, either.

Restrictions

All roads to this site are unsurfaced. Even high-clearance vehicles such as SUVs will have difficulty, due to large rocks, deep ruts, and sticky clay mud. Also, there are many backcountry roads and no directional signs to the Marker.
