Logan Canyon Scenic Byway
Bicycle/Pedestrian Facilities

Hwy 89 has bicycle lanes in some areas. The road's shoulders are mostly gravel. Bicycle/pedestrian traffic through the canyon continues to increase as population grows in Logan and surrounding communities.

The byway consists of roadway shoulders that provide the necessary facilities for bicycle/pedestrian traffic. There are several trailhead and bike path entry points located along the byway and several bicycle/pedestrian trails or paths that run parallel to the roadway. One that is used by many of the residents of Cache Valley is the Logan River Trail, popular with both pedestrians and bicycle enthusiasts.
