Logan Canyon Scenic Byway
Information
While traveling along the byway, learn about the rich diversity of physical, natural, cultural and historical forces that have sculpted Logan Canyon through the ages. This unique diversity is revealed through a series of eleven kiosks located throughout the canyon. The interpretive panels tell the story of the "Portraits in Time" of the byway. The signs illustrate the geological and natural forces that have shaped the byway and tell the story of the people who have made it their home.
The USFS Wasatch-Cache National Forest-Logan District Office just up the hill from the mouth of the canyon in Logan has detailed information about the byway. This office is closed on weekends.
The Bear Lake Overlook Visitor Center has tourist information (maps and pamphlets.) It is currently staffed on weekends from late spring through early fall, but open to visitors all year round.
The Bridgerland Visitor Center in the County Courthouse on Main Street in Logan also carries information about the byway. This office is closed on weekends.
On summer evenings, rangers hold Nature Programs at the Malibu-Guinevah amphitheater.
