Swett Ranch Historic Site, UT
Visit a ranch that was the result of the Homesteading Act of 1862. See what was necessary to make a living in the early 1900's in a remote and rugged part of the West. Over the years, five homes of varying sizes, and with more modern amenities have been built on the 397 acres.

Situated approximately 35 miles north of Vernal on Hwy. 191. From the Greendale Junction with Highway 44, drive north on Hwy. 191 for one mile toward Flaming Gorge Dam. The turnoff to Swett Ranch is near milepost 236 on 191. Swett Ranch is approximately one mile west of 191 and one mile north of Hwy. 44.
