Known as a historic community in Sanpete County, Fairview is one of the main towns on The Energy Loop: Huntington/Eccles Canyons Scenic Byway with a museum of history and art for travelers to explore. Settled in 1859, the community played a part in the Blackhawk War, a struggle between European Settlers and the native people who were already inhabiting the area.
