Nebo Loop Scenic Byway
Community Bible Church, UT

The Community Bible Church, part of Payson's historic district, was built in 1882 to serve as the Presbyterian church's local bible school. Its steep, gabled roof supports a wood belfry whose ca. 1886, 600-pound brass bell still rings in the New Year and other special occasions.

Visitors are welcome to tour the church grounds which are beautifully maintained in the spring and summer. The church is unoccupied, but tours are not offered of the interior.
