The Fisher Towers are one of the most outstanding scenic features of Utah's Colorado Riverway. These rock pinnacles soar 900 feet above a maze of red- and purple-hued canyons. Visitors to the Fisher Towers will be rewarded with a sweeping view of the towers, Castle Rock, the cliff-enclosed Richardson Amphitheatre, and the Colorado River. Movie-goers will recognize this region as the backdrop in countless Westerns, notably The Comancheros, starring John Wayne, Wagon Master, Rio Grande, Ten Who Dared, Rio Conchos, and Against a Crooked Sky.
