    Canyonlands National Park - Needles District (UT)

    The Needles District of the sprawling Canyonlands National Park is home to thousands of acres of finely-shaped pinnacles, spires, mushrooms and fins carved by erosion in the orange and beige sandstone.

    Located about 10 miles from the end of SR-211,which at that point turns into a national park-maintained road.

  • Newspaper Rock

    Newspaper Rock (UT)

    This rock holds an amazing record of ancient Indian writings. Visitors can see several different petroglyph styles, including Fremont, Ute and Anasazi, on a rock 'billboard' 8 feet high and 20 feet wide.
