Gas is available on the scenic byway from Memorial Day to Labor Day at Lakeside Resort. After Labor Day the resort is only open on the weekends and then closes the third week in October, after hunting season. The resort has been known to run out of gas on busy weekends, so it is better to gas up in one of the nearby towns, either Loa or Richfield.
