  • Capitol Reef National Park

    Capitol Reef National Park (UT)

    This park is a maze of brilliantly colored cliffs, natural bridges, domes, and stone arches. Unique features include the 100-mile Waterpocket Fold, Fruita orchards (free fruit in season), and many pioneer structures.

    The western entrance is located just one mile east of Torrey on Hwy 24.

  • Hanksville

    Hanksville (UT)

    This agricultural and mining community nestled in the colorful southern Utah desert is home to just a few hundred people, yet it serves as the gateway to some of the most remote wilderness areas in Utah.

    At the junction of SR-24 and SR-95, between the San Rafael Swell and Canyonlands National Park.

    Torrey (UT)

    Torrey is called the "Gateway to Capitol Reef National Park." It was settled in the 1880s and was named Torrey with the opening of a post office in 1908.

    Located at the north boundary of Scenic Byway 12, 7 miles north of Grover.
