Capitol Reef Country Scenic Byway
Boulder, UT
Isolated by its formidably hazardous surroundings, Boulder was the last town in the U.S. to receive mail by mule. As a little town at the edge of the Grand Staircase, this community still holds a romantic sense of isolated paradise. It is a center for summer activities and is famous for the Anasazi Village State Park. Visitors won't want to miss the turnoff to the Burr Trail Scenic Backway that is also located in Boulder.
