Special Considerations

The easiest path, at least at first, is in the creek itself. There is NO hiking trail beside the creek. Be prepared to clamber over or weave your way between large rocks. You will find it hard to avoid getting wet; we recommend wet-and-wear footwear (unless you don't mind going barefoot over lots of hard little rocks or taking your shoes on and off a lot).

Seasons

Best Time to Drive

Summer and fall are the best times to take this hike; the weather is more stable and the water levels are lower.
