Desert National Wildlife Refuge Complex consists of four refuges located in southern Nevada: Desert National Wildlife Refuge, Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge, Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, Moapa Valley National Wildlife Refuge, and the Amargosa Pupfish Station.
Distance from byway: 31.7 mi / 51.0 km Travel time: 49 minutes Directions: From the Stratosphere at the north end of the byway, take Las Vegas Blvd. Turn left at Charleston Blvd. Make a slight right toward Grand Central Pkwy. Take the 1st left onto S Grand Central Pkwy. Merge onto I-15 northbound. Take US-95 exit toward Reno. Next, take the Snow Mountain ramp. Merge onto US-95 N. Turn right at Desert National Wildlife Range Rd. Then, turn left at Corn Creek Field Station .
