Lewis and Clark Discovery Center, ID
Exhibits, sculptures, and film presentations interpret the Corps of Discovery and their 1805-06 journeys through Nez Perce Country at Hells Gate State Park. Four miles south of Lewiston on Snake River Avenue. Some boaters use Hells Gate State Park as access to the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area. Hells Canyon is North America's deepest gorge.
