Jackson has many visitor services and accommodations, lots of shops, a regional hospital, rural airport, and travel supplies. At the north end of town is a visitor information center and park, where Wyoming travel information and displays are provided. A block south of the information center is the Supervisor's Office for the Bridger-Teton Forest, where information about recreation on the National Forest and Jackson Hole area is available.

Abundant information is available at the Jackson Hole Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center, located on the way to Yellowstone to the north of town.
